Our Commitment to Safety
Safeguarding and Welfare of Children
Safeguarding, Child Protection and Welfare Policy 2026
The CatchUp Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of every young person who accesses our provision. Safeguarding underpins every aspect of our work, whether tuition takes place in a young person's home, in the community or online through our bespoke tuition platform.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. Every adult working on behalf of The CatchUp Academy has a duty to remain vigilant, act professionally and report any concern about the safety or welfare of a young person without delay. The welfare of the young person will always be our paramount consideration.
Our full Safeguarding, Child Protection and Welfare Policy (approved August 2026) can be downloaded above. It sets out our safeguarding arrangements, how concerns are recognised, reported and managed, our safer working practices, and information for parents and carers.
If you have any concern about the safety or welfare of a young person, please contact our Designated Safeguarding Lead or Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead immediately.
